Shipping Policy

1. Custom Build Timeline

Every PC from ThunderPCs LLC is custom-built to order.

  • Lead Time: Orders typically ship within 7–14 business days from the date all parts arrive at our Denver studio.

  • Stress Testing: Before shipping, your PC undergoes a mandatory 24-hour stress test to ensure hardware stability and thermal performance. We do not ship systems until they pass our quality checklist.

2. Shipping Methods & Local Pickup

  • Carrier: We ship via UPS or FedEx Ground (3–5 business day transit time).

  • Local Pickup (Denver, CO): Skip the shipping fees and the risk of transit! If you are in the Denver Metro area, we can arrange a secure local pickup.

  • Tracking: A tracking number will be provided as soon as your build is boxed and labeled.

3. Shipping Insurance & Signature

  • Full Insurance: Every custom build is insured for its total replacement value.

  • Adult Signature Required: To prevent "porch piracy" and ensure your high-end system reaches you safely, an adult signature is required for delivery. We cannot ship to P.O. Boxes.

4. Professional Packaging

We use a multi-layer protection system to keep your hardware safe:

  • Internal Bracing: We use expanding foam inserts inside the case to prevent the GPU or heavy coolers from moving or sagging during transit.

  • External Protection: Systems are shipped in heavy-duty, double-walled boxes with reinforced corners.

5. Damages in Transit

In the rare event that a PC arrives damaged:

  1. Save Everything: Keep the box and all packing materials.

  2. Photos: Take clear photos of the external damage to the box and any internal damage to the PC.

  3. Notify Us: Contact kjhummel2025@gmail.com within 48 hours. We will handle the insurance claim and provide a solution to get your rig running.
